What the estimate includes

Japan-side costs and sea freight are estimated at ¥162,206, the average across 148 auctions. A specific auction may cost less or more. Any surcharge based on the vehicle price is calculated separately.

The transfer fee is estimated at 1.5% of the Japanese invoice, with a ¥10,000 minimum. The final fee and exchange rate depend on the bank. Website conversion uses the Bank of Russia rate and excludes the bank's exchange-rate spread.

GTYRES services are estimated at ₽50,000; the broker package and laboratory at ₽67,000; collection from the temporary-storage warehouse and transfer for dispatch at ₽5,500. Broker storage is ₽200 per day for the first three days, ₽300 on day four, and ₽500 per day from day five.

Additional inspection, repairs, separate insurance, delays at the temporary-storage warehouse and non-standard transport are excluded. We agree these for the specific vehicle.

How the amount is calculated · rules dated 14 July 2026

Calculation rules are dated 14 July 2026. Bank of Russia exchange rates are dated 09.09.2026. These are separate dates: refreshing exchange rates does not update the legal tables. Before customs clearance, final payments must be confirmed against the documents and the rules in force on that date.

This is a preliminary estimate for an M1 passenger car imported directly into Russia. Value, age, engine capacity and power, and import conditions determine customs duty, clearance fees, excise, VAT and the recycling fee. These payments are shown separately; the Japan turnkey mode adds the estimated purchase, service and delivery costs.

For hybrids and electric cars, use the combined 30-minute motor power from the electronic vehicle passport, vehicle safety certificate or other supporting documents. Advertised peak output is not a substitute. The recycling-fee calculation uses combustion-engine and motor power for parallel hybrids, and motor power for series hybrids. Eligibility for a reduced recycling fee and power figures require confirmation; imports via another EAEU country need an individual calculation.
