About this generation

Subaru Crosstrek: keep the early e-Boxer separate from later s:HEV

Japan’s third-generation Subaru Crosstrek replaced the XV name and retained independent suspension. Early 2023 cars use a 2.0-litre FB20 boxer with e-Boxer, a CVT and front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The 2.5-litre s:HEV belongs to a later branch, so year and powertrain must be checked together.

Five seats, a 2,670 mm wheelbase and 200 mm of clearance help frame the cabin choice, but the trim still matters. The generation includes 17- and 18-inch wheels, an 11.6-inch portrait display and different EyeSight assistance sets; request the exact equipment list, drive layout and engine code for the selected car.
