About this generation

Suzuki Swift sixth generation: 1.2 litres, ISG and gearbox choice

Japan’s sixth-generation Suzuki Swift keeps a five-door body and uses a 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine rated at 82 hp. The range includes conventional petrol and mild-hybrid versions with an ISG starter-generator that assists the combustion engine. The trim determines whether this system is fitted; ISG alone does not mean all-wheel drive.

The CVT occurs in front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive versions; the five-speed manual in these Japanese configurations is paired with front-wheel drive. The wheelbase is 2,450 mm. Multimedia, climate controls, heating and the parking brake depend on equipment grade; confirm the nine-inch display and other options on the actual car.
