Japan’s second-generation Aqua uses a hybrid system with the 1490 cc M15A-FXE engine. Alongside front-wheel drive, the range includes E-Four with a separate rear-axle electric motor. Confirm all-wheel drive from the specific version rather than the model name alone.
The base B trim has a lithium-ion traction battery, while the other original versions use nickel-metal hydride batteries. Identify the exact trim and check the installed battery type before purchase.
