M Sport in the name of the BMW X5 does not suggest how to refuel the car. In the Korean range of the G05 generation, this design is found in the diesel X5, petrol and rechargeable hybrid. Therefore, the search for the X5 M Sport begins with the choice of a power plant, and only then moves on to the equipment.
Three letters with different meanings
For the xDrive30d, the letter d stands for diesel, for the xDrive40i, the letter i stands for a petrol engine, and the xDrive45e is a rechargeable hybrid. All three versions have xDrive all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission, but the hybrid adds the ability to charge from the mains.
For the buyer, this is a useful difference: a comparison only by M Sport can put cars with different ways of everyday use next to each other. If charging is not included in the plans, the diesel and petrol versions should be considered separately from the rechargeable one.
