Suzuki Solio G: five seats, sliding doors and petrol engine

The Suzuki Solio is a compact five-door hatchback with sliding rear doors on both sides and five seats in the cabin. The sliding door does not swing to the side, so in a tight parking lot it needs less space on the side than a regular swing one, and it is easier for passengers in the second row to get in when another car is nearby.

How the interior works

The rear seat folds down in 50/50 parts, and the tilt of its backrest is adjustable, so that the cabin can be adjusted for passengers or cargo. In the G version, keyless entry, an engine start button and climate control are standard, and an electric drive of one of the sliding doors was offered as an option.

Version G and Security Suite

G is a petrol version with a 1.2-liter engine and a CVT, without a hybrid installation; it is available with front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. G with Suzuki Safety Support package has automatic collision avoidance braking, lane control function, traffic sign recognition, automatic high beam switching and rear parking sensors.

Not every G has this package: the version was offered without it, with the same other equipment. Therefore, the name G does not yet speak of safety systems, and their availability is checked for a particular car.
