Toyota bZ3X: Toyota Family Electric Crossover for the Chinese Market

Toyota bZ3X

Toyota bZ3X is an electric crossover that Toyota made for buyers in China together with Guangzhou Automobile Group, a joint venture between GAC Toyota and Toyota’s China Electric Vehicle Research Center. This connection is visible right on the body: on the tailgate, next to the bZ3X shield, there are hieroglyphs 广汽丰田 – the designation GAC Toyota. The model premiered at the Beijing Motor Show in April 2024.

A family car by design

Toyota describes the bZ3X as a family electric car in an SUV body, conceived as a “cozy home” on wheels. It has five seats, a wheelbase of 2765 mm, ground clearance of 210 mm, front-wheel drive and a gearbox instead of a gearbox. The equipment depends on the version, so the set of driver assistance systems for a particular car is checked by its specification, and not by the name of the version.

bZ3X and bZ3C are different cars

At the same auto show, Toyota showed the bZ3C, and similar names are easy to confuse. The bZ3C is designed with BYD Toyota EV Technology and FAW Toyota as a dynamic crossover for young buyers, and the bZ3X is designed with GAC and GAC Toyota as a spacious family car, so the characteristics of one model do not transfer to another.

On October 1, 2026, the price of a new 2026 Toyota bZ3X Pro+ without mileage in Ussuriysk was 2,750,000 rubles, and transportation to another city is counted separately – it is described in the section Delivery in Russia. For another car, you need an up-to-date calculation.

The generation and versions of the bZ3X are collected in the Toyota bZ3X catalog, and cars from the Chinese market are described on the page cars from China.
