Toyota Raize G 1.2: compact crossover for the city

The Toyota Raize has a body length slightly less than four meters, and the width is 1695 mm, so the car takes up relatively little space, but retains a high body and a separate tailgate. At the same time, different power plants are hidden under the same body, and the choice of Raize begins with which one is on the car.
One body, three power plants
After the November 2021 update, the front-wheel drive petrol Raize received a naturally aspirated 1.2-liter engine, the all-wheel drive ones retained a liter turbo engine, and the e-SMART hybrid appeared nearby, in which petrol engine works as a generator, and the wheels are driven by an electric motor. In the photos, these cars look the same, so the version is determined by the body code: the Japanese version of G with the code A201A has a naturally aspirated petrol 1.2-liter engine with 87 hp, front-wheel drive and CVT, and not the classic stepped automatic transmission.
What does a small body give
Compactness is noticeable in everyday tasks: for the G of this period, Toyota indicates a minimum turning radius of 4.9 m, and the rear sofa folds in parts, so that a long thing can be transported without giving up a small car. At the same time, the trunk capacity and comfort of landing are better evaluated with the cargo and those passengers who will actually ride in the Raize.
Price benchmark
On September 3, 2026, for the 2023 Toyota Raize G with a mileage of 48,000 km and an auction valuation of 4, the total to Vladivostok was 1,183,650 rubles, and transportation beyond Vladivostok is counted separately – it is described in the section Delivery in Russia. For another car, an up-to-date calculation is needed.
This Raize is chosen by those who need a high seating position more often than a large engine: among similar cars, the A201A code distinguishes the desired version, and the choice of a particular car is decided by its condition. How the stages of purchase work is described on the page cars from Japan.
