The Chinese Venza of the second generation offers a choice between a 2.0 liter petrol engine and a 2.5 liter hybrid installation.

Why is the power plant important?

Petrol Venza with a 2.0-liter engine works with a CVT. The hybrid version combines a 2.5-liter engine with the electrical part of the installation. These are two different versions of the car, even with the same all-wheel drive designation.

Therefore, the choice begins with petrol or hybrid and only then proceeds to the configuration. Two all-wheel drive Venza should not be considered the same in design just because both have driving front and rear wheels.
