In the late 80s, Nissan engineers created the Skyline GT-R R32 - a car built not for the sake of compromises, but for the sake of victories. The all-wheel drive of the ATTESA E-TS, the inline "six" of the RB26DETT, advanced handling and racing character made this car a real weapon on the track.
The R32 was especially loud in Australia. In the local touring car championship, it dominated Holden and Ford so confidently that the Australian press gave it the nickname Godzilla - a monster that came from Japan.
The name stuck forever.
